Tournament Rules

 

1. All Games to be played to normal rules of hockey.

 

2. Each Game shall be 30 mins each way, with 5 minute half time.

 

3. Games must start promptly at 7pm and 8.15pm. If a team is late to arrive, captains to agree the length of each half/half time to ensure the next game can start on time.

 

4. Each team is responsible for providing an umpire of an appropriate standard e.g. Level 1.

 

5. Each Team shall be responsible for their own first aid provision.

 

6. In the event that a team cancels a match, they will be penalised by losing the game by 5-0 and 3 points will be awarded to the opposition.

 

7. 3 points awarded for a win, 1 point for a no score draw, 0 for a loss.

 

8. Westberries Ladies Hockey Club and Coombe Dingle Sports Complex accept no responsibility for loss or damage to persons or property and clubs must have their own insurance e.g. England Hockey Sports Insurance
